Reva University B.Tech Admission

The university provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Technology Lateral (B.Tech Lateral) degrees to their students at the graduate level. The course duration of B.Tech is 4 years while B.Tech (Lateral) or the lateral entry needs 3 years to get completed.

Reva University offers five specializations in Bachelor of Technology, that are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The specializations are similar to the students who take lateral or second-year entry in the B.Tech.

The students interested in the courses mentioned above must have to go through an entrance test administered by the university itself (REVA CET). The selection will be made according to the score and performance in the entrance examination.

NOTE: There is a 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category in B.Tech eligibility criteria.

REVA University Placement

The Placement and Training Cell handles all aspects of campus placements for the graduating students at REVA University. The wing provides employment opportunities to students through campus recruitments, pooled campus, and off-campus recruitments. The recruitment process is initiated with a clear focus on the students from all academic levels. All levels of the companies are contacted and invited for the campus recruitment drive which matches different academic levels of students. The placement department is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process such as arrangements for Pre-Placement Talks, Interviews, Group Discussions, and Workshops.

REVA University Scholarship

The scholarships are awarded to students seeking admissions through merit, sports quota, defense quota, PH quota, or other applicable categories. These scholarships are awarded based on the eligibility criteria decided by the University. The following are the scholarships provided by the university.

• Student Scoring Rank in Karnataka Common Entrance Test(K-CET): Students who have qualified in K-CET are entitled to receive the scholarship based on their ranks. The percentage of scholarship amount varies from student to student as the scholarship is strictly awarded based on the rank secured in K-CET.

Sports Scholarship: Candidates seeking admissions on sports quota are eligible for a scholarship based on their participation at State/National/International levels. Students who participated at different levels in sports events such as athletics, basketball, volleyball, swimming, hockey, cricket, etc.are eligible for scholarships. Relevant documents should be produced to avail of the scholarship on sports quota.

NOTE:

• Demand draft should be made in favour of "REVA Hostel" payable at Bangalore.
• If the student pays the entire hostel fee in full at the time of admission, he/she is eligible for 8% discount in the hostel fee for that year(Refundable excluded)
• If the student pays a blocking fee at the time of admission and then pays the entire hostel fee in full at the time of joining the hostel, he/she is eligible for 5% discount in the hostel fee for that year(Refundable excluded)
• There will be an increase of 5% in the Hostel fee every year.
• If the Student pays the entire hostel fee for the period of the course (2/ 3/ 4/ 5 years) during the time of admission, he/she need not pay the 5% incremental fee every year
• Hostel rooms are available on the first-come-first-serve basis and are "subject to availability".
• The students must vacate their rooms within 3 days of the completion of their semester examination process.
