NMIT provides Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) programme for the candidates interested to make career in the field of Engineering and Technology. The B.E programme holds a duration of four years for each of the specializations offered by Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology.

NMIT has an active and dynamic Career Development Centre which successfully attracts not only a large number of reputed Industries for on-campus placements but also conducts training programs in the areas of soft skills, analytical & problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities to enhance the competence of students and bridge the gap between the academia and industry. 

NMIT has instituted a unique Scheme of deputing UG/PG Students to Industry/Research Organizations for a minimum period of Six weeks’ internship leading to academic credits. The institute has a placement record of 90%+ with more than 160 companies visiting the campus to recruit students. Some of the top recruiters are Amazon, Deloitte, Dell, Microsoft, GE, Tech Mahindra, HP, Infosys, Wipro, Nutanix, Puravankara, Sobha, Brigade, Century, Tesco, Raymond, Coca cola etc. The highest CTC this year is in excess of 30 Lakhs.

Hostels

NMIT provides On-campus Hostels for about 1000 boys and 500 girls. There are four hostels for boys and two for girls. Twin and triple sharing rooms are available. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are available for students.

Students may order extra and special items for all meals in addition to the standard menu. These items are available for a minimum charge.

In-house wardens take care of the needs of students and help maintain discipline in the hostel.

All the Hostels have common areas with TV and reading rooms where students can relax. Campus has good security with CCTV surveillance. Transport facility for students is available.
