BMS Institute of Technology and Management was established in the year 2002 and is governed by BMS Educational Trust founded by Sri B M Sreenivasaiah and his illustrious son, Sri B S Narayan. It is a private, un-aided, non-minority, autonomous college which is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. It has been recognised by UGC and has also been approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The institute has also been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an “A” grade along with NBA. To generate capable engineers who can handle such obstacles, BMSIT has flawlessly integrated its high-performing academic, personality development, and administrative subsystems

The BMSIT Bangalore courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 5 courses offered to the candidates in the stream of engineering, computer applications and management. These courses are offered in the offline regular mode to the candidates. The BMS Institute of Technology and Management admission to all the courses is offered on the basis of the candidate's performance in the respective entrance exam as well as the last qualifying exam. KCET (for BE courses), GATE/Karnataka PGCET (for ME/M.Tech courses) and KMAT/Karnataka PGCET (for MBA & MCA courses) are some of the entrance exams that are accepted by the institute for admission.

Admission

The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects - Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics. The Candidate should have secured not less that 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages for admissions to engineering.

The BMS Institute of Technology and Management offers B.E programs in seven areas of specialization. All the undergraduate courses are of 4 years.

To be eligible for admission to the postgraduate programs, candidates must have completed their undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
Interested candidates can apply for admission to the postgraduate courses through PGCET (Post Graduation Common Entrance Test, Karnataka).
Candidates applying for MCA program should have studied and secured an average minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category candidates) in Mathematics or Statistics or Computer science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Statistics as optional subjects.

BMS Admission Registration

The application form can be obtained online through the university website.

To fill up the COMEDK application form, candidates must register themselves on the official website.
He/she must provide all the necessary personal details.
After previewing and ensuring that the details, the candidate will be able to successfully register. He/she will receive credentials (user id and password) for the application form.
After using the credentials, the candidate must log in and fill the other details remaining in the application form. At this stage, he/she must also select the course to be pursued.
He/she must upload a scanned recent photograph along with the scanned copies of the required documents.
The applicant must select three nearby examination centers from the given list.
The payment must be done online and it is non-refundable.
The application fee is INR 1200 for PCB/PCM students and INR 1500 for PCMB students.
After the payment of the application fee, a transaction ID will be displayed which must be noted down for later use.
After this is completed, it is compulsory to take a print out of the form for future reference

The placement cell of BMSIT was established in 2004. Around 188 companies visited the institution. The placements are related to the current trends in the economy. Some of the major recruiters of BMSIT are, Byju’s, WIPRO, Reliance, YODLEE, TARGET, NOKIA, HCL Technologies, etc. BMSIT is guarantying the students with placements.

BMSIT Bangalore Scholarship

The institute provides scholarships for UG students, like J AND K AICTE. The class topper of each department will be appreciated by cash prizes. Those who belong to the OBC category can be applied for Vidya Siri (e-pass ). Students will get a good amount of money through this scholarship.

Hostel: There is a separate hostel facility for boys and girls. The hostel is well organized with the necessary items. The institute is offering a very good ambiance inside the hostel. The hostel will conduct annual fest programs. The students get a chance to enhance their talent through extracurricular activities.
Food Court: The institute has an environmentally friendly food court that can accommodate 200 students at a time. The food court is arranged for the convenience of students. The items are available at a fair rate. The clean and neat atmosphere is creating a place for a gathering of the students.

HOSTELS

A hostel is a new phase of life in a student’s life. They encounter many difficulties when they first shift into a hostel. Be it the room he stays in, or the environment that they encounter. A hostel life makes sure that a child is grown and

BMSIT Hostels span four blocks, three of which are boys' hostels and are inside the campus. The other one is in a residential area at Yelahanka 4th phase where the girls stay and this is 4 km away from the campus. Total capacity of the hostel is 622 students. College is providing transportation to the students staying in the girls' hostel. We also give accommodation to International students who come under NRI/ PIO category.

. The hostel life in BMSIT&M offers many entertaining activities. An annual fest "Kalarava" is a colourful event filled with cultural and sports activities. This program is organized to encourage the hostel students in co-curricular activities includes sports and cultural eventsto select the Text Element.
