Karnataka BDS Admission

• Candidates who want to apply for Karnataka BDS Admission must appear for the NEET 2023 national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA.
• Candidates must also register online for the Karnataka BDS 2023 counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on the official website.
• Candidates must fill in their choices of colleges and courses in the online option entry form.
• The seat allotment for the BDS will be done based on the NEET Scores, state merit rank, choices filled, reservation, and availability of seats.
• Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the allotted colleges for document verification and fee payment within the specified period.

Karnataka BDS Result

The Karnataka Examination Authority's (KEA) seat allocation procedure and the NEET UG score determine the outcome of the Karnataka BDS admission 2023. The KEA issued the first round of seat allotment results for BDS and BDS courses on August 17, 20231.
The KEA website contains the allotment order for the candidates who were given seats in the first round. Before August 22, 2023, the candidates must report to the designated colleges with the necessary paperwork and payment.
September 4, 20233 is the deadline for the second round of option entries for Karnataka BDS admission 2023. Through the KEA site, candidates can complete and secure their selections for the second round of counseling. 

Karnataka BDS Admission 2023: Counseling

 Get councelling
• Registration: Candidates who have qualified for NEET 2023 and are eligible for Karnataka BDS admission must register online on the KEA website. The registration round has been opened from August 24 - 25, 2023.
• Document Verification: Registered Candidates must verify their documents at the designated helpline centers. The document verification schedule and list of helpline centers are available on the KEA website.
• Option Entry: Candidates who have verified their documents must fill in their choices of college and courses in the online option entry form. The option entry for round 2 has been extended till September 4, 2023. Candidates can modify, reorder, or delete their options till the last date.
• Seat Allotment: The seat allotment for Karnataka BDS admission 2023 will be done based on the NEET scores, state merit rank, choices filled, reservation, and availability of seats. The seat allotment result for round 2 has been released on September 8, 20233. Candidates can check their allotment status by logging into their accounts on the KEA website.
• Reporting and Fee payment: Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the allotted colleges for document verification and fee payment within the specified period. Candidates must download their admission orders from the KEA website.

Karnataka BDS Admission  Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should be citizens of India or OCI (Overseas Citizen of India)
• Candidates should be at least 17 years old as of 31 December 2023. The maximum age limit is 25 years with a 5-year relaxation of reserved categories.
• Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC (Pre University Education) or Class XII or equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects.
• Candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and the biology qualifying exam. For the reserved category, the minimum marks required are 40%
• Candidates should have qualified for the NEET 2023 exam with the required cutoff marks.
